Privacy notice

This notice explains what Find a Cheese Shop collects and what we do with it. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

If you email us or use a form on this site, we receive what you send: usually a name or shop name, an email address and your message. Browsing the site doesn't require you to give us anything.

Why we use it

Only to check, add or update a listing, fix problems you report and reply to you. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the guide accurate. We don't sell details or use them for marketing.

Who handles it

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Forms are delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms. Both may process data outside the UK under safeguards set out in their terms.

How long we keep it

For as long as a listing is live or 12 months after we last heard from you if you weren't listed.

Cookies and statistics

We don't set cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across sites. Fonts load from Google Fonts. Links to shops take you to their own websites, which have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
